The Park At SummerWind
Relaxing in Summerwind Plantation will be even easier as you consider your healthcare needs. The Park at Summerwind is located on a 13.6 acre parcel and will offer up to 100k square feet of healthcare and will offer many specialty medical providers, including doctors who make house calls! Planned services to be onsite include: dental, dialysis, endocrinology, gynecology, ophthalmology and oral surgery along with an oncologist and of course a nutritionist and a host of rehabilitative specialists. The general practitioner as well as nursing and some physical rehabilitation services will also offer at-home care.
Another great provided healthcare service will be home delivery of medicines through our Summerwind pharmacy service.
Wellness Center
Medically supervised fitness programs will be offered in the Summerwind Wellness Center. An indoor pool and wet area will promote aqua aerobics classes. Yoga and light cardio will be available in the cardio spa and the latest treadmills, elliptical trainers and Nautilus training equipment will be available for your daily use. Diagnostics will be administered at the Wellness Center so that you can keep up with your physical progress. All homeowners will be provided a paid enrollment and the first year’s dues! The wellness center will be approximately 15,000 square feet.
Assisted Living/Activities Center
Overlooking the pond and fishing pier will be the Summerwind Plantation activities center. Over 7,000 square feet of private use space for Summerwind’s owners will be built in 2008. A great hall, library and music room will be found on the main level, along with the HOA and staff offices. On the lower level, the kitchen, class rooms and the arts and crafts spaces will be available for planned events as well as impromptu gatherings. Covered porches on the rear will offer rocking chair views of the fishing pond and the nature trail.
